Acne Skin Treatment

my skin is extremely sensitive and I’ll get allergic reactions. even when I put a lotion on my hands and then touch my face, i’ll get a rash everywhere. I’ve tried so many products but none of them really worked. my dermatologist gave me this benzoyl peroxide gel for acne and a rash developed all over my face. what’s a hypoallergenic, non-irritating acne cleanser/treatment

I get bumps on my forehead not many ,but enough to make me mad. I know i have oily skin ,but what to use for it.

I have the same problem as you – small bumps/acne on my forehead and sometimes beside or on my nose and on my chin.

I recently learned about mandelic acid – it is one of the most gentle products to put on your face and is anti-bacterial, and suitable for all skin types.

i have sensitive skin and i was wondering what i could use. im trying proactiv right now…

I also have sensitive skin, and occasionally have acne break outs.

I find all of the topical stuff burns my skin and causes peelings and other bad stuff.

The best treatment is going to the store and buying acidophilus or buying probiotics online. Probiotics provide "good bacteria" to your face instead of the bad bacteria which causes acne. They eliminate the acne so you don’t have to use creams, wipes, or irritating stuff. I hope you find a good solution.

Have any of you been to all of these and noticed a difference in the efficiency of any particular spa for oily, acne prone skin (cysts, severe breakouts due to hormones & stress)? What about Sonya Dakar clinic or Kate Somerville?

I’ve been using the obagi skin treatment for about 10 weeks now and it actually cleared up my skin i should have used it a long time ago if i only knew i could actually touch my face now.

I used ProActiv for a while but my dermatologist prescribed me a different acne washing cream. But since I still have a lot of ProActiv left over, I’ve been using ProActiv to wash my face in the morning and the dermatologist’s one to wash my face at night. Is that damaging for my skin? Will it only make acne worse?

YES. Only use one at once. This is because your skin will get confused and will break out.

It’s really weird, because my skin was always SO oily.
But now it’s all tight and weird.

I run out of tablets tomorrow, ive been taking the 40mg a day for 16 weeks now. My appointment with my doctor isn’t for another week though. Will my skin start getting really bad again while I await the next prescription?

Call your dermatologist and explain the situation. He/she will likely be willing to squeeze you in and see you earlier (this week). Your skin will probably not get bad in that short of a period of time, no, but it’s best to stay on consistent, continuous therapy.

i’m getting a tattoo in 12 days and theres a few pimples right where i want it done. so just wanted to know what acne spot treatments worked for people with sensitive skin . thanks for your answers

You should switch skin care routines – Arbonne will work wonders! I have used it and sold it for 2 years and have flawless skin! In a pinch like you are, I would use that Clearasil overnight stuff – the patches if they still sell them. You stick it on and it zaps overnight!!

Hey there. I need something to help to stall the aging process (within reason, I dont expect miracles) that isn’t going to make me break out like a leper.
Anyone have any luck with a product like that?
Shoot, anyone have any luck just with a night cream of ANY sort that doesnt make you break out – because my skin tends to be dry from acne treatments.
