If you have only been using the product for a week, then keep using it. Your skin needs to get used to the product. It might wor after awhile. But it will only work if you are using it correctly and continuously.

If it still doesn’t work or is past this stage: go to the store. look at the acne treatments. buy a scrub or cleanser with 0.5%salicylic acid. Balance it with an acne cream of 5-10% benzoyl peroxide. 10% is the highest if your acne is bad. I recommend you get a product with sulfur, though, because it won’t irritate your skin as much. Test the products for a week. It is natural for your face to become red and irritated at first so make sure to start using them at times when you won’t see anyone. If your face is still irritated after a week see a dermotoligist. You might have an allergy to something in most acne medications.

Proactiv really doesn’t work btw. They’re just good at selling it. The best stuff comes from dermotoligists.

one thing that has worked for me and is inexpensive–just put neosporine on your zits at night. it will make them heal faster and keep them from re-infecting if you picked at them. also, if you wear make-up, go a week without using any foundation/coverup/powder, the difference that makes is amazing–even just washing the make-up off immediately after returning home can help. a few months ago i wouldn’t leave my room without make-up, and now i go clean faced most of the time because of the combination of neosporine and giving my skin time to breath!

Soak a cloth in hot water and leave it on your face for about 5 minutes. Afterwards, dont wipe off the water from your face!! Hope that helps!!

I had the same problem with the brand that you mentioned, and I switched to Mario Badescu, and I have had very happy results. You can find the products at their website, and in select stores.
